O nome lançante vem de um fenômeno que acontece na natureza após a ação da pororoca as águas ficam mais fortes e movimentadas o nome dado a esse momento é Lançante.
O projeto tem um visual moderno, simples e limpo porém cada elemento e cor conta com um significado importante na história da lançante.
Os atributos da marca foram: Multicultural, Comunicativa, Flexível e Forte.
